Important News from Gracefruit

Now that November is finally upon us we would like to share some updates on final orders for the year, information on our bulk ordering system and more.

First we'd like to address recent updates from the EU regarding the upcoming Chemical Strategy for Sustainability
(CSS) and how this affects Gracefruit fragrance oils going forward into 2026 and beyond:
As part of the EU Green Deal, a policy aimed towards European climate neutrality by 2050, a number of updates to chemical regulation will be coming into place which will require changes to the ingredients allowed in fragrance formulations. We are working closely with our manufacturer to ensure the following ingredients will be replaced with suitable and stable alternatives on all orders placed after January 1st, 2026, as per the upcoming guidance from REACH:

Cyclamen Aldehyde

Tea Tree Oil

This will affect the following fragance oils in our current range:

We're happy to confirm that these reformulations will have no negative impact on IFRA and/or Cosmetic Regulations, assessed against known
dosage and end use. There will also be no negative impact on Halal Suitability, REACH registration status and limited to no increase of potential fragrance allergens per formulation.

Once again, these changes will only apply to any fragrance arriving after January 1st, 2026. Documentation will be updated and available on our website as soon as these changes take place.

As for our final order dates for the year, the cut off for bulk and special order fragrances to be dispatched before the new year is 12pm GMT on November 20th, 2025.
Our final date for any retail orders placed via our website to be dispatched before the new year is 12pm GMT on December 16th, 2025.
