Blue ? A beautiful cool blue Our oil-soluble, lip-safe lip balm colours are a wonderful way to colour your lip balm and other anhydrous products. These castor-oil based colourants are super-concentrated, and using less means better value. In our tests, 1g of colourant produced a very strong colour in 500g batches of lip balm. Our basic colour palette allows you to blend the perfect shade for your products. The matt colours may be enhanced with mica to add sparkle, shimmer, and sheen. Directions for Use Shake the colourant bottle well before use, making sure lid is secure. Dip a toothpick into the colourant and stir this into your batch. You may repeat this action until you?ve achieved the desired colour. Please Remember ALWAYS test your colourants in a small batch to ensure you?re getting the results you want. Start with a small amount of colourant until you reach the strength of colour you want. Remember to take clear and detailed batch notes so you can repeat your steps. We recommend using no more than 2g of colourant for a 1kg batch. Lip balms made with dark-coloured oils such as green olive, hemp, and unrefined avocado will yield different results. Again, we recommend you test the colourants before making large batches of soap. We cannot accept responsibility for the products you produce using our colourants, and encourage you to properly test the colourants before use. Although our colours are fast when used in lip balms, neat dye from the bottle can stain skin, clothing and surfaces. Always exercise caution when dealing with strong dyes.
